Code: SCH CURR356 New to Phonics
Are you a teacher or a teaching assistant who is new to phonics teaching?
Join us for this short, online course where we will revisit the subject knowledge needed to teach phonics. We will provide participants with an introduction to the Letters and Sounds teaching programme and an overview of the teaching sequence and will explore the content of an effective phonics lesson.
This course is aimed at teachers and teaching assistants in Reception and KS1 who are new to phonics teaching or wish to refresh their phonics knowledge. KS2 teachers and teaching assistants who are running phonics intervention groups are also welcome to attend.
